On the morning of June 2nd, 2017, Prof. Qi Dewei of the Department of Chemical and Paper Engineering at Western Michigan University visited our hospital and key laboratory. Academician Kong Fangong Executive Dean accompanied Professor Qi Dewei to visit key laboratories, exchanged teaching and research related issues, and conducted preliminary communication on the “3+1” double degree and postgraduate study of our undergraduate students. An undergraduate in the printing engineering department of our school has already enrolled in the school with a 3+1 double degree and has entered the master's degree. Afterwards, Professor Qi Dewei gave an academic report on Computer Simulations of forming and wet press processes at single fiber level in the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. Papermaking professional undergraduates and graduates participate in the report meeting. Ding Hongjie, deputy dean of the college, participated in related activities.
