At the invitation of the College of Materials Engineering, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Professor Liu Yu, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education, Pulp and Paper Science and Technology/Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory, led a group of seven key teachers in key laboratories to Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University on November 16, 2017. The School of Materials Engineering conducted visits and research.
Prof. Chen Lihui, Dean of School of Materials Engineering, hosted the forum. At the symposium, Dean Chen expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced the construction and development of the School of Materials Engineering in recent years. He especially introduced talent training, talent introduction, and laboratory hardware construction. Deputy Director Liu Yu expressed his sincere gratitude to President Chen for his hospitality. He explained the purpose of the delegation and introduced the basic situation of the school and the light industry department, and the construction of key laboratories for papermaking. He pointed out that Qilu University of Technology and Shandong Province After the integration of the Academy of Sciences, the problems in the integration of science, education, implementation, and key work of the school and the college were discussed and exchanged with each other. After the symposium, the delegation visited the laboratories and research rooms of the School of Materials Engineering, and conducted full exchanges on laboratory management, maintenance of experimental equipment, and construction of laboratory systems.
This visit is one of the key laboratory series of inspection activities. It is intended to strengthen exchanges, learning and reference with counterparts at home and abroad through the two channels of invitation and going abroad, and also expand the influence of key laboratories.
