The Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science and Technology of Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) was established in 1995. It was approved by the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province in 2004 and became a key laboratory of Shandong Province. In 2006, it entered the ranks of strengthening construction. The Pulp and Paper Science and Technology Laboratory has ample scientific research rooms, advanced equipment and facilities and complete supporting facilities. The construction area of key laboratories is 5,500 m2, the total value of equipment and equipment is 60 million yuan, and 100 large-scale equipment and equipment of more than 100,000 yuan (sets). The laboratory has one ISO physical and chemical constant temperature and humidity pulp physical property testing center; one 350 m2 papermaking pilot laboratory; and another one independent steel structure pilot plant covering an area of about 1,000 m2, meeting the requirements of large paper machines and coaters. The equipment can operate normally. Two pulp and papermaking process laboratories meet the requirements for basic experiments in pulp and papermaking; more than a dozen laboratories for papermaking chemicals, wet-end chemistry, coated paper, machinery, and secondary fibers, and public laboratories for teachers Tutor's office, Taishan scholar research laboratory and other laboratories, and pulp and paper professional information room. At the same time, it presents the results of the laboratory's basic research and technological transformation and promotes the integration of production, study and research.
