Dr. Armin Eraghi Kazzaz, Ph.D. student at Lakehead University, made a special report for teachers and students of our school

On October 19th, 2017, Dr. Armin Eraghi Kazzaz, a doctoral student at Lakehead University in Canada, gave a special report on biomass refining in A320 teaching building. Some teachers and postgraduates of the college (key laboratory) attended the lecture.

Mr. Kazzaz first introduced his educational experience and academic research direction of his research team. Then, the basic concept, development trend of biomass refining and its far-reaching impact on people's production and life in the future are described. The advantages and feasibility of developing biorefinery based on the pulp and paper industry are pointed out, focusing on the composition of wood fiber - ----Thoughts and methods for preparing functional chemicals from cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. In the end, Mr. Kazzaz had full exchanges and heated discussions with the teachers and students around the topic of biomass refining.

Armin Eraghi Kazzaz, an Iranian national, is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Lakes, Canada. He is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Lakes, Canada. His research interests include the preparation of amphoteric lignin and its use as a flocculant. On September 26, 2017, he was appointed by Pedram Fatehi to our hospital/key laboratory to conduct a one-month academic exchange and visit. During this period, he made two public academic reports and conducted extensive business exchanges with relevant teachers and graduate students.
