The forum conducted discussions on the topic of “energy saving, high efficiency, green, and intelligent control of new technologies and new products” to predict technology development trends and development directions, and provide scientific and technological support for paper industry enterprises with high environmental protection pressure, returning value, and rising prosperity. . The forum was moderated by Ms. Shi Jihui, Vice President of China Paper Industry Association, and Mr. Ba Yonghong, Deputy Secretary-General of China Paper Association.
Professor Zhang Meiyun of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology and Professor Wan Jinquan of South China University of Technology made special reports. Prof. Zhang Meiyun took high-performance fiber and paper-based functional materials as topics, pointing out that with the development of fiber manufacturing technology, advances in papermaking technology, and the emergence of various additives have been created for the use of non-plant fibers such as synthetic fibers, mineral fibers, and metal fibers. The conditions gave the traditional paper thermal, electrical (magnetic), force, sound, and chemical functions, improved the performance of traditional paper, and extended the paper applications. Prof. Wan Jinquan gave an in-depth analysis of the latest development topics in environmental protection technologies and equipment for the paper industry, from the new development of papermaking wastewater treatment equipment, anaerobic treatment process equipment and new developments, new advanced oxidation treatment processes and equipment, and papermaking wastewater treatment. The intelligent control system and other aspects introduced the new equipment for wastewater treatment in the paper industry.
By participating in this technical forum, the participants in the lab got a better understanding of the development of the industry and got the opportunity to learn from peer experts. Through the exchange, they also demonstrated the strength of the key laboratories to the industry and strengthened our laboratory. All parties in the industry have a cooperative relationship.
