At the invitation of our hospital and key laboratories, Dr. Magdi Gibril of Sultan Jezera University came to our hospital and key laboratory for academic exchange on December 8, 2017. In A202, teaching building No. 2, we gave the teachers and students of our school the title of Special report on Beneficiation of waste from pulp and paper mills sludge, and their possibility of applications in advanced materials. In the report, Dr. Magdi Gibril first introduced his own research experience and background, and proposed methods and approaches for preparing high value-added products based on the sludge produced in the pulp and paper industry. He focused on the preparation of nanofibers from the cellulose components of sludge. Nucleic acid (NCC), chemical modification of NCC, production of functional materials, etc. This report has a strong guiding value and reference value for the research work of teachers and students in our hospital and key labs. After the meeting, Dr. Magdi Gibril conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with teachers and students of our school with her own scientific research experience and academic achievements.
