On the morning of December 8, 2017, the 2017 Valmet Scholarship Award Ceremony and the Valmet Enterprise Publicizing Event were held in our school. Director of Light Industry Department (Executive Deputy Director of Key Laboratory) Liu Yu, Executive Dean of Papermaking Institute (Deputy Director of the Laboratory) Kong Fangong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Xiong Kaifeng, Head of Valmet North China Region Zhou Zhou, Human Resource Manager of Valmet Region Yang Yi Mr. Qiao Xinzhi, product engineer of Valmet, and teachers and students of papermaking and forestry chemicals in our hospital participated in the activity.
At the award ceremony, Director Liu Yu first spoke on behalf of the school. He expressed his welcome and gratitude to the guests and introduced the development of schools, paper mills and key laboratories in recent years as well as future development plans. After the award ceremony, Valmet's corporate publicity activities were held. On behalf of the company, Zhou Mei, the head of Valmet North China, congratulated the award-winning students for the recent developments in the industry and Valmet's latest development. Wei Xinde Product Engineer Qiao Xinzhi graduated from our school in 2012. After joining Valmet internship in the same year, he became a member of Valmet. He shared with teachers and classmates how he stepped into the workplace from school and grew up after five years of continuous learning. Experience as a product engineer.
