From April 18th to 20th, 2018, young teachers from key laboratories, Dr. Ming and Dr. Lin Zhaoyun went to Shandong Weihai Longgang Paper Co., Ltd. for a two-day inspection and exchange.

Dr. He Ming and his team, accompanied by leaders of Weihai Longgang Paper Technology Department, inspected the waste paper pulping and corrugated paper production lines at the Longgang Paper Factory in Weihai, and detailedly learned the equipment type, operating status, and raw material types of each production line. , Process flow, product type and production scale, and conducted in-depth exchanges with enterprise personnel on the production process of each production line, domestic and international sales conditions, talent demand, technology and personnel training cooperation.

Weihai Longgang Paper Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock company that produces high-strength corrugated base paper from waste paper. It annually produces 150,000 tons of high-strength corrugated paper with an output value of 400 million yuan. It is the largest corrugated paper manufacturer in Shandong's Jiaodong region. The purpose of the visit and exchange activities was to strengthen cooperation research between pulp and paper engineering majors (disciplines) and papermaking-related companies. Young teachers visited the company to conduct inspections and communicated with technicians on related technical issues. The current status of equipment and processes in this field has enriched professional knowledge and experience, laying a foundation for better service industries and teaching work in the future.
