The Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science and Technology at the Qilu University of Technology (formerly Shandong Institute of Light Industry) was established in 1995. It was approved by the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province as a Key Laboratory of Shandong Province in 2004 and entered the ranks of strengthening construction in 2006. In November 2010, the Ministry of Education Acceptance approval is the Key Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science and Technology Ministry of Education. In order to further improve the level of academic research in the laboratory and promote the cultivation of high-level innovative talents, the laboratory will continue to establish the 2017 Director's Fund to finance research projects in the frontier scientific fields surrounding pulp and paper science and technology.
I. Application
1. Research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and science and technology workers in the industrial sector.

3. Encourage foreign researchers to apply for international cooperation projects.
Ⅱ.the fund application process
1. The applicant will send the electronic version of the application to this laboratory's e-mail address (klppst@163.com) before November 5, 2017.
2. The laboratory director hires relevant experts to review the application submitted by the applicant, determine the funding item and amount, and approve the implementation. Study time: Generally two years. The fund of the director fund is 1-2 million yuan per project, and the funds for international cooperation projects increase appropriately.
