Qiu Xueliang, Ph.D., Director of Applied R&D Department of Futian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., specializing in bio-engineering. He has been engaged in research work on biomass refining for many years. He has carried out the project of screening xylitol strain for fermentation of corn cob hydrolyzate and corncob. Production of L-lactic acid from waste slag fermentation project, project of preparation of activated carbon from residue of corn cob waste residue, production of L-arabinose from corn bran, and other projects; and 4 patents for invention.
